Tumblr is really enjoying its moment in the spotlight at NYFW these past couple weeks. In spite of a bit of nastiness when some of their backroom dealings with luxury brands were exposed they are the platform of choice for brands and bloggers in the fashion industry. And now, Neilsen’s Social Media Report has uncovered that Tumblr has tripled it’s U.S. unique visitor numbers over last year.
One Tumblr that’s covering all the action, Men In This Town, exemplifies how easy and quickly compelling video can be thrown together if you have some nice bumper titles and a decent soundtrack. They’ve been releasing these things once a day, and they’re great.
