Engine worked on something similar a few years ago that incorporated Facebook & webcam technologies for eye glass retailer, Cleary Contacts. Use your friend circle to help you make your purchase decision - after all, they’re the ones who have to look at you all day. I think Social Shopping is where e-commerce is going and we’ll see a lot more startups like this one.
